Refunds Policy
Last updated: 31 October 2026
- 1. This policy applies to every amount paid to Clearline Labour Advisory (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/703740/07), trading as ClearLine Labour Advisory ("ClearLine") through its website and member portal, including monthly membership fees, upgrade charges, once off document purchases, CCMA matter files, handbooks and custom documents. It must be read with our Terms and Conditions and our Membership Cancellation Policy.
- 2. ClearLine supplies services only. No physical goods are supplied or shipped. All services are delivered electronically through the member portal and become available to the member immediately on payment. Once rendered or made available, they cannot be returned.
- 3. All fees are final and not refundable, in whole or in part. Without limiting this, no refund is given for:
- 3.1 any partial month of membership, including a month falling within a cancellation notice period;
- 3.2 unused monthly allowances, advisory access or plan benefits;
- 3.3 any prorated amount charged on an upgrade;
- 3.4 any document, CCMA matter file or handbook once it has been generated, unlocked or made available for download;
- 3.5 a change of mind, or a decision not to use or act on the advice or documents provided.
- 4. Fees are paid for the services rendered, not for any particular result. The outcome of a disciplinary process, a CCMA matter or any other dispute does not entitle a member to a refund.
- 5. Paragraph 3 does not apply to a genuine billing error, meaning an amount charged in duplicate, a membership fee debited after the membership has ended, or a once off purchase paid for but not delivered because of a technical fault. In any of these cases ClearLine will, at its election, either deliver the item paid for or reverse the charge, provided the error is reported to info@clearlinelabour.co.za within 30 days of the charge.
- 6. A member who believes they have been incorrectly charged should contact ClearLine before disputing the charge with their bank. ClearLine may suspend access to the member portal while a payment dispute or chargeback remains unresolved.
- 7. Nothing in this policy limits any right a member has under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, to the extent that either Act applies to that member.
